As part of Visiting Arts ongoing commitment to residency opportunities for artists based outside the UK, Visiting Arts and Delfina have awarded the Annual International Fellowship to Zambian artist Kate Naluyele who lives and works in Lusaka.

This year’s nine-month Fellowship was announced in March 2004 in collaboration with the British Council offices and was open to applications from visual artists living and working in Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The selection panel consisted of Digby Squires, Delfina Studio Trust, Sarah Gillett, British Council and Camilla Canellas and Nansi O’Connor, Visiting Arts.
